North American Law Study Program

Every year, Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law hosts a three-week Summer School. During this period, students follow courses such as:

  • Canadian Criminal Law
  • Canadian Administrative Law
  • Business Ethics
  • Canadian Business Law
  • North American Trade Law
  • Law and Economics
  • International Commercial Arbitration
  • Introduction to Sustainable Development Law: A North American Perspective
  • Canadian Natural Resources Law
  • Canadian Privacy Law
  • Electronic Commerce Law

Outings and organized trips include:

  • Guided sightseeing cruise of Montreal
  • Walking Tour of Montreal
  • Day Trip to Quebec City
  • 3-Day Trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto
  • Trip to Ottawa: Parliament & Supreme Court

Registration costs amount to CAD$ 2,900 (incl. deposit). This includes tuition, lodging on campus, breakfasts and lunches, the closing banquet, trips & outings, as well as travelling costs related to the trips & outings organized by the Faculty. A deposit of CAD$ 500 is required to secure your place.
